COLLECTIONS REQUESTS

Connecting Stories, Objects and Human Experience

Collections are an important part of how humanity preserves and shares its story.

Objects, artworks, documents and cultural materials can carry memories of people, communities, traditions and civilizations. They can help us understand where we have come from while encouraging us to consider the world around us today.

Axis Museum seeks to explore these stories through meaningful cultural and creative experiences.

A STORY BEHIND EVERY OBJECT

An object can be valuable not only because of what it is, but because of the story it carries.

Where did it come from?

Who created or used it?

What does it represent?

What culture or tradition is connected to it?

What can it teach future generations?

Axis Museum seeks to explore the stories behind objects and the human experiences that give them meaning.
